Light intensity and photoperiodism, the difference is not that hard to tell
Light intensity and photoperiodism, the difference is not that hard to tell

Light intensity is a physical term that refers to the energy received by visible light per unit area. For plant growth lights, we can use PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) to evaluate the impact of light intensity on plant growth. The higher the PPFD value, the greater the number of photons in the visible wavelength range obtained per unit area, the easier it is to reach the light saturation point of the plant, and the better the photosynthetic effect of the plant. Therefore according to the different needs of plants for light intensity and the photoperiodism, we must be pertinent in the process of supplementing light for greenhouse plants.

So what is the photoperiodism? The photoperiodism means that the plants can respond to the periodicity, especially the light changes in day time and at night and the length of light and dark time. For example, some flower plants can only grow flower buds after a photoperiodism. For this reason, we can divide plants into long-day plants, medium-day plants, and short-day plants. Generally speaking, long-day plants require high PPFD values and short-day plants require low PPFD values.

For example, roses, china roses and other rosaceae plants are long-day plants; more light exposure to these plants is conducive to their healthy growth; coconuts, water ficus and other mesophytic plants can grow well even under sufficient light or even in a shaded environment; Orchid plants such as orchids prefer dark environment, and less light exposure is more conducive to their growth.

5 modes of optional brightness, switch as you please

In different light brightness modes, the number of photons released is different. When the brightness increases, it means that the number of photons are also on the increase. You can choose 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100% different brightness to supplement light needs to the cherry tomatoes and succulents grown indoors.

3 kinds of light spectrum are available, supplement the plants with just the right light

 Red Light Spectrum

Red light with a wavelength around 650nm helps plants with photosynthesis, and facilitate flowering, coloring and fruiting. The red light mode of the Sansi lamp imitates the red light of sunlight, which helps seed formation, early flowering, early fruiting, and fruit coloring.

Blue Light Spectrum

Blue light with a wavelength around 450nm can promote the germination of plants. The blue light spectrum of Sansi clip grow light imitates the blue light of sunlight, which helps with plant photosynthesis and plant growth at seedling stage.

Mixed Light Spectrum

Red light promotes plant stem elongation and carbohydrate synthesis, the synthesis of vitamin C and sugar in the fruit, and at the same time inhibits plant nitrogen assimilation; blue light is a necessary supplement for red light, and it is also necessary for crop growth; which is conducive to the synthesis of high oxides, including stomata control and stem extension. The mixed light mode of Sansi plant clip light selects the red light and the blue light to realize the normal plant growth.

Precise timing function, 5-level brightness adjustment, 3 mode switching, 3-stage timing setting, power memory switch, functional at all times

When the light is on, short press to turn on the 3/6/12 hour countdown respectively via online controller. When the countdown is over, the light will automatically turn off, you won’t be afraid of forgetting to turn off the light even when you go out; regardless of what types of plants you had at home, through 5 levels of brightness adjustment you can choose the appropriate light; through the flexibly 3 modes switch, one light could easily handle the phases as plant seedling, growth, flowering, and fruiting. if you want the light to keep on the on- state before turning off, it can be achieved through the power memory switch. At the same time, you can turn off one light every time you press the power memory switch; after  3 times pressing, all 3 lights are turned off.

This Sansi clip light for the moment will be launched on e-commerce platforms. It is well and widely adopted to supplement light for indoor potted flowers, green plants, and succulents. If your indoor plants need light supplement, this clip light is must-have item for indoor home plants.
